Above: Chopped windshield height is 7 1/8". This coupe is set up for a swing-out windshield. The other option is a glue-in windshield.

The top is a solid panel. The original opening in the roof is filled.

1932 3-Window Coupe Bodies

Windshield

Glue- in or original type swing out windshield are options (the body pictured has the swing out option.) When set up for a glue-in windshield a lower retaining strip allows the dash to be removed after the glass is installed.

When set up for the swing out frame (shown here) the windshield hinges and swing arm studs are installed.

Wiper

The cowl and windshield header structure is designed for the Specialty Power Window cable wiper unit. As an extra cost option Wescott will install a dual or single wiper.

Top

The original opening in the roof area is filled. The body is available stock height or with our special classic chop (2 1/2" at front, 2" at back window). This results in a chopped version windshield height of 7 1/8" which is slightly more than the legal minimum in most states.

Dash

A removable fiberglass dash panel is installed in the body. Four styles are available: Stock with opening glove box lid; Filled with raised panels and opening glove box lid; Filled with raised panels and a filled glove box area, and Flat, with no glove box. (The opening glove box is an extra charge.)
