Doors
Options are outside or hidden hinges, stock type inside handle or outside handle.
Doors are an inside and outside fiberglass panel with an inner steel frame. They are assembled on a special jig so every door is the correct shape and hardware is mounted properly. The doors when they are installed align correctly.
The doors are mounted to the body at Wescott's with hinges, modern single jaw latches, striker pins, and rubber bumpers installed. |
The steel inner door reinforcing has sockets for side curtain rods, and tabs for mounting either inside or outside door handles.
Latches accept stock style handles and links. Linkage for outside handles available at extra cost.
Stock style or hidden hinges are available. The Wescott hidden hinges are specially designed for our Roadster & Phaeton bodies and only protrude minimally (about 1/4") inside the door posts. |
