Deck Lid
Options are the deck lid hinged as a rumble lid or trunk lid. A rumble seat riser is installed for the rumble option. A stock type or a remote trunk latch is optional.
Deck lids are an inside and outside fiberglass panel with an inner steel frame. The inner steel frame has areas to mount hinges and latch. Deck lids are assembled on a special jig so every lid is the correct shape and hardware is mounted properly.
The deck lid is fitted and mounted to the body with the hinges, latch, striker, and rubber bumpers installed. A stock style (outside handle) or remote operated latch is installed. The remote latch does not include operating cables or linkage. Trunk hinges are a Wescott designed high-lift style for ease of opening and adjustmnt. All drip channels are installed around the deck lid opening, drain tubes are installed.
