Returns, Exchanges, and Policies

Parts Counter: We have a large inventory of in stock items at our parts counter.

Charge Cards: We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover charge cards. Currently we cannot do credit card transactions from our website, but we are happy to do credit card phone transactions. We suggest payment mailed with orders to be a cashiers check, money order or personal check. We may require personal checks to clear our bank before we ship your order.

Body Order Deposit: We require a 20% deposit for any body order (the down payment cannot be on a charge card.)

Back Orders: We attempt to keep most fiberglass & Wescott hardware parts in stock, however we sometimes are out of stock on some items. Please call to check current approximate delivery times. We ship as soon as we can after receipt of order. If we are out of stock on any items we will often make a partial shipment and backorder remaining items. We can notify you of backorder status at the time you place a phone order, or check with us after mailing an order. Backordered items are shipped as soon as they are available. If out of stock items require truck shipment we will normally hold the order and ship all items requiring truck freight in one shipment.

UPS Shipments & Shipping Charges:
Prepaid orders should estimate 15% for UPS or Parcel Post shipping charges. We will refund or bill any significant difference. We attempt to ship UPS whenever possible. Most small and medium size items can be shipped via UPS or Parcel Post. UPS charges are determined by weight and distance. Any medium size package (with length + girth = over 84”) is charged a minimum of 30 lbs.

Truck Shipments: Many large or bulky items must be shipped via truck lines including: All bodies, front fenders, 1948-later pickup rear fenders, 1933-40 1-piece hood tops, removable hardtops, pickup box assemblies, 1932-56 pickup box sides.
Truck Freight Charges: Truck charges are determined by weight, what is being shipped, plus distance, and less any discount. Truck lines always charge a minimum charge for any shipment however small. This charge is often equvalent to a shipment of over 100 lbs. We have arrranged a substantial discount with several truck lines. Truck lines also charge up to $45.00 extra for residential delivery. This does not apply for delivery at a business or pickup at the truck line terminal. Truck freight charges can be collected by the truck line at delivery or prepaid to us, or billed to a charge card.

Coupes and 39-40 Convertible Bodies must be shipped by independent hauler. Call us for a quote.

International Orders: No freight can be shipped COD outside the US. All orders must be paid in advance or by charge card. Certified check, international money order, or irrevocable letter of credit are acceptable. All must be payable at a US bank in US dollars. Medium and large items (bodies, fenders, hoods, deck lids) must be shipped via truck or sea, freight charges collected by carrier at delivery. Many small items can be shipped International Parcel Post or UPS. Estimate 25% of order for shipping to Canada, 50% of order elsewhere.

All prices & descriptions in this catalog are subject to change and/or correction without notice.

What has to be shipped by truck? Anything that measures over 130" girth + length (the UPS maximum size).
Any order that includes:
• A body
• Any front fender
• 1938-52 pickup rear fender
• 1939-40 trunk lids
• 1933-40 one piece hood tops
• 1932-56 pickup bed sides
• Any pickup beds
• 32 roadster floor panels
• Lift-off roadster tops
• Body quarter panels

Important: Please Note
All fiberglass products listed in this catalog are manufactured by Wescott's Auto Restyling. We believe these are the highest quality and best fitting fiberglass parts available. Most other parts listed in this catalog are manufactured by other vendors.
We have attempted to select only the best parts available, whether foreign or US made. The purchaser and user of any product we manufacture or sell shall determine the suitability of the product for his or her intended use and agrees to assume all liabilities in connection with any use.

Refunds and Exchanges:
We will at our option, repair, replace, or refund up to our original sales price of any product we have manufactured or sold, which we have agreed is defective in materials or workmanship, subject to the following conditions:

1. The product must have been purchased direct from us, or be a fiberglass or other product of our manufacture purchased through an authorized dealer.
2. Any request for adjustment must be made within 90 days of receipt of product.
3. Any returns must be authorized by Wescott’s, be returned with freight prepaid, and be accompanied by a copy of our original invoice.
4. If the product was purchased through one of our dealers you must first contact that dealer for assistance. Any adjustment will be handled through that dealer.

We will gladly exchange for credit any part ordered from us in error if returned to us within 45 days:

1. The part must not be altered and must be in re-sellable condition.
2. Any return must be authorized by Wescott’s, be returned with freight prepaid, and with a copy of our original invoice included.
3. Any return for refund must be within 30 days of receipt, and will be assessed a 20% re-stocking fee.
4. Bodies, customized parts, and special ordered parts (not listed in our catalog) can not be returned unless defective.
